Maria was born in Moroleón, Guanajuato, Mexico. She arrived in the United States in 1994 with her parents and two older sisters. She believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to live a better life of their choosing. Even though the immigration process can be complicated, she hopes to provide assistance to those applying because it can become a life-changing experience.
